Getting the print settings exactly right can be a tad tricky so I’ve put together the most important things that you need to know.

Firstly, you need Adobe Reader. It’s free and can be downloaded from http://get.adobe.com/reader. Once installed, open your file in Adobe Reader and go to Print.

For the pages to print the intended size, it is important to find the setting that refers to scaling. This will be slightly different for depending on the type of your printer, so look for something to the effect of “100%” or “Actual Size”. You DO NOT want it to scale the document to fit your paper size.

For the Orientation setting, choose Auto portrait/landscape.

To print double sided on a single sided printer, first print the even sided pages, then flip the paper, and print the odd sides.
